Planning the stay
Helping an Older Pet Settle In
A few things make a stay easier for a senior or special-needs pet:
- Bring their own food and enough medication for the whole stay, plus a little extra
- Write down the routine: feeding times, doses, walks and anything that upsets them
- Remember the 14-day rule: no vaccinations or vet visits in the 14 days before boarding
- Tell us about mobility, hearing or vision changes at drop-off
- Leave a phone number where we can always reach you
